// DATA PROTOCOL

Privacy policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Your information is yours. Here I explain clearly what data I collect on this site, what I use it for and how you can ask me to update or delete it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Sahar Gabriela Chain Mayorga, an individual based in Bogotá, Colombia, who offers web development, artificial intelligence and brand design services under the name Sahar Chain (saharchain.com).

Email for privacy matters: [email protected]

2. What data I collect

  • Contact form: name, email address, company or brand (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
  • If you write to me by email or WhatsApp: the data you choose to share in that conversation.
  • Anonymous visit statistics: pages viewed, where you came from (for example, LinkedIn or Google), country, browser and screen size. They do not identify any person.
  • Preferences saved in your own browser: the language and whether ATLAS's voice is on. They do not leave your device.

I do not collect sensitive data or data from minors.

3. What I use them for

  • Replying to your message and preparing a proposal or quote.
  • Following up on a project we agree on.
  • Understanding, in aggregate, which website content is useful in order to improve it.

I do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for advertising, and I will not send you newsletters without your permission.

4. Services that help me process data

I use providers that process data only to deliver their service. Some are outside Colombia, so by sending the form you accept that international transfer:

  • Formspree: receives the contact form and emails it to me (United States).
  • GoatCounter: anonymous visit statistics, without cookies (European Union).
  • Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
  • Google (Gmail): receiving emails.

5. Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Statistics are measured without cookies and without identifying you.

6. How long I keep them

I keep contact data for as long as our conversation or project lasts and up to two years afterwards, unless you ask me to delete it sooner or a legal obligation requires keeping it longer.

7. Your rights

Under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations, you can:

  • Know, update and correct your data.
  • Request proof of the authorization you gave.
  • Find out how they have been used.
  • Revoke the authorization or ask for them to be deleted.
  • File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

If you are in the European Union, you also have the rights of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such as portability and objection to processing.

8. How to exercise your rights

Write to me at [email protected] with your name and what you need. I answer inquiries within 10 business days and complaints within 15 business days, as the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will publish the new version here with its update date.
