WEB DEVELOPMENT · CORPORATE WEBSITE
Website for a sports store with a purpose: commerce, scholarships for young athletes and educational content for families.
// 01 · THE MISSION
Sports Store is the website for a store selling gear for Canada's most popular sports. Its value proposition goes beyond sales: the brand supports young athletes through a scholarship program and helps families with content about the benefits of sport. It was a five-student team project in which each member built one page; my responsibility was the visual layer: I wrote the CSS for all four pages, giving the site a coherent identity, its adaptation to different screens and its interaction effects. Developed within the Computer Programmer program at Lambton College in Ontario, Canada, following professional development standards.
// WHAT WAS BUILT
// VALUE PROPOSITION
The site combines four fronts that strengthen the brand's relationship with its community and give every visit a reason to return.
Products organized in five sections—sale, hockey, basketball, soccer and baseball—with prices, discounts and a menu to jump to each category.
An invitation for young people who need support to apply for a scholarship through a form, with new scholarships every month.
A video carousel for parents about the benefits of sport for body and brain, plus more stories in the about section.
The brand's story, mission and collaborations, opening hours, three stores in the Toronto area with a map and a contact form.
// CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS
Each team member built a different page. My task was to unify them with one visual language—colors, typography, buttons, spacing and responsive behavior—so the site would feel like a single brand.
